Our Adventures

Over the past few years Amy and Rob have embarked on quite a few adventures together. From trips across and in oceans to more metaphorical adventures in DIYing; the best part of the journey is the company... or something sappy like that.

Isla Holbox, August 2014

This was the first major trip that the pair took together. Isla Holbox is located off the tip of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. In August of every year giant whale shark migrate to the area to feed on the plankton. Pasty white tourists follow them down there.

SXSW, March 2015

Rob has made it to Austin, TX's largest music festival several times, but this time Amy was able to join him. Through Adam's (Rob's best man) connections, they gained access to many venues and even into the VIP/press areas.

Europe, July 2015

Rob and Amy's biggest excursion together to date: Chicago to Glasgow, Scotland to Edinburgh, Scotland to London to Paris to Stockholm and the surrounding Archipeligo to Helsinki, Finland.

Milwaukee, March 2016

As part of Amy's Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship she had to spend a month in an extended stay hotel outside Milwaukee. Every Wednesday Rob and Amy would meet halfway for dinner, but on the weekends they traded off coming to Milwaukee or Chicago.

DIY Projects

You want a challenge to a relationship? Go to Ikea. You want to push it to the envelope? Turn that into your own DIY project. Amy and Rob have embarked on a handful of projects, and after many trips to Home Depot and brainstorming sessions they've come out on the other side with great conversation pieces.

Concerts

When Amy met Rob he was deep into going to many live shows. Amy was more than happy to get into that swing.

Denver - San Francisco, August 2016

Rob and Amy rolled a friend's wedding into a train trip from Denver to San Francisco. However, Rob had a little something extra planned for that trip!

Camping

Rob hates camping. Amy makes Rob go camping. Rob begrudgingly has a good time.

Parties!

As you'll see at the wedding, Amy and Rob love showing people the best time. Together they have thrown many parties for New Years, St. Paddy's/Rob's Birthdays, Memorial Day, etc., etc.
